Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

Do not fear,
    for I am your protector;

I have called you by name,
    you are Mine.
If you pass through waters,
    I am with you –
Through rivers,
    they will not drown you.
If you walk through fire,
you will not be scorched –
Through flame,
    it will not consume you.
For I am God your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Isaiah 43:1 – 3

Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

God confuses the speech of the people, so man can no longer build a Tower of Babel higher than God.

How often have you been trapped in filters of confusion?  Confusion comes when we forget we are an extension of God and think that we are all alone, with no map or direction to follow.  To dismantle confusion, remember you are never alone.  As you open to receiving the Source, God enters and shows you the way.  (Intention, p. 44)

Lech Lecha: Genesis 12:1 – 17:27

God speaks to Abram, telling him to go out from all he has known to a place God will show.

Do you hear an inner voice or feel an inner urge that beckons you toward new visions for yourself and others?  How do you respond?  Are you ready to empty and be filled by the Infinite Source?  (Intention, p. 37)

Lech Lecha: Genesis 12:1 – 17:27

What does it mean to be ready?  Your whole life you are getting ready – ready to go out, to come in, to get it together, to take it apart, ready to be.  It is easy to be ready when you know what is expected from you.  But how difficult is it to be ready for the unknown?  Stepping into unknown territory requires you to let down the barriers of your mind and the filters of your perception.  (Intention, p. 43)

Tuesday, October 16, 2018 – 7 Cheshvan 5779

Lech Lecha: Genesis 12:1 – 17:27

Abram takes his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all their possessions, and the souls they have gathered in Haran, and they go forth into Canaan.

You were born from God’s intention, and what comes through you is born from your intention.  Before you enter a new territory, whether in your mind, body, or spirit, there needs to be intention.  When you know your intention, your spirit knows its purpose, your mind defines its goals, and your body acts accordingly.  (Intention, p. 33)

Lech Lecha: Genesis 12:1 – 17:27

When they enter Egypt, Abram pretends that Sarai is his sister.

We all yearn to have real, sincere friendships and to be part of sensitive and caring relationships.  Real and sincere friendships are easier to find than you think.  All you have to do is pause, empty, and see the soul hiding behind the mirror image.  (Creativity, p. 278)
