If you wish to follow the Counting of the Omer, there are two resources available for you.  The first was written by  Max Amichai Heppner – or second, you may choose the more conservative version written by Rabbi Simon Jacobson.

Thursday, May 21, 2020 – 27 Iyar 5780 – Omer day 42 – Yom Yerushalayim

Bamidbar:  Numbers 1:1 – 4:20

This day is Yom Yerushalayim, which memorializes the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967, reinstalling Jewish control of the Western Wall and the site of the Holy Temple.  This is a day to envision unity and wholeness for all peoples, everywhere.

Focus your awareness today on being at one with all there is.  Witness the miracles that occur when you are no longer separate from anything, anyone, anywhere, at any time.  (Nobility, p. 319)

Friday, May 22, 2020 – 28 Iyar 5780 – Omer day 43

“I will walk among you and I will be a God for you, and you will be My people.”

You are never alone.  There is always a sacred being available within you who will help you overcome obstacles with wisdom, understanding, compassion and strength.  (Strength, p. 146)

Saturday, May 23, 2020 – 29 Iyar 5780 – Omer day 44

Bamidbar:  Numbers 1:1 – 4:20

When you are conscious, you maintain an awareness of all the dimensions in which you experience life.  You are aware of being the perceiver, the perceived, and perception itself.  You recognize that you are the seer, the seen, and the vision simultaneously.  As you awaken to consciousness, you awaken to the glory of God as it abounds in the universal realms and in your own personal spheres.  (Glory, p. 256)

Sunday, May 24, 2020 – 1 Sivan 5780 – Omer day 45

Shavuot

A census is taken of the sons of Levi, and their unique roles are delineated.

Understand the interconnectedness of all parts of yourself, while defining your unique role in the larger theatre of humanity.  (Method, p. 25)

Monday, May 25, 2020 – 2 Sivan 5780 – Omer day 46

Shavuot

In the thirteenth month following the exodus from Egypt, Moses and Aaron take a census of the (male) Israelite community.  And they camp at Sinai clan by clan.

In Hebrew, there is no separate word for “to be.”  Being is implied in every word.  Being is always present in you, in everything, and everywhere all at once.  When this is taken to mind and heart, then even in the most ordinary and simple actions, you will be able to bring your wisdom in harmony with the wise actions of those around you.  (Wisdom, p. 73)

Tuesday, May 26, 2020 – 3 Sivan 5780 – Omer day 47

Shavuot

When you are standing in the space between your self-image and your God image, the physical and the spiritual, the ordinary and the extraordinary, the mundane and the miraculous, both sides call to you.  In the space between one and the other, the midpoint is born.  As you stand in the midpoint of your own life, God calls you to integrate what was with what is yet to be.  (Harmony, p. 176)

Wednesday, May 27, 2020 – 4 Sivan 5780 – Omer day 48

Shavuot

The Levites are appointed to preserve the Mishkan.

Be yourself and have the strength to act in the uniqueness of who you are.  (Nobility, p. 297)
