Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift. If you arrive after orientation, it is difficult to understand the sort process and your role in it. If you are new and need more time to find your way, plan on earlier…if an old pro, you know 1:30 is just fine.
Things to remember
The following guidelines are designed to ensure all volunteers have a great (and safe) experience:
– All volunteers must wear close-toed shoes due to the warehouse setting. Those not wearing close-toed shoes will not be able to volunteer.
– All volunteers must be at least age 12 to volunteer. Volunteers between the ages of 12 and 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian-attached. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers age 16 and older can create an individual account and volunteer without an adult.
