As you know, the 18th annual ALEPH Kallah was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Kallah is a major fundraiser for ALEPH, and ALEPH is working to put together programming to help fill the financial gap created by the loss of Kallah. This is a pay-what-you-can event.
ALEPH’s biggest summer fundraiser is going to be Erev Shel Kochavim: An Evening of Stars – the ALEPH Virtual Cabaret. Taking place on Sunday, July 19th at 7 pm Eastern, this three-hour program, emceed by Rabbi Geela Rayzel Raphael, is going to be a fast-paced and exciting evening of music, teachings, and much more. It will be the premier virtual event of the summer! You can learn more at www.aleph.org/virtualcabaret.
Because this event is also a fundraiser, we are looking to include testimonials from our network community members throughout the program. If ALEPH has impacted you or your community, please consider sending a brief video clip of 30 seconds – 3 minutes sharing your story. This clip should be recorded horizontally, in a room with lots of lighting and little background noise. You can send the clip to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our deadline for receiving these clips is Friday, June 26 at 5 pm EDT. We are so thankful for you and look forward to hearing your stories.
