In celebration of Women’s History Month, Dr. Lisa Sirota-Weiner will be discussing the lives of two extraordinary Jewish women. On March 20, we will learn about the life and legacy of Hedy Lamarr, who escaped Nazi Austria and became a film star, avant garde composer, and inventor of advanced communications technology that continues to impact our world today.
