A Peek at the Baha’i Faith – Religion as a Force for World Peace
The Baha’i Faith is a new faith based on the belief that all World Religions are expressions of one eternal truth. The Creator, like a loving parent, has never left his children without guidance. In every age, in every region of the planet, the Eternal One has provided prophets, visionaries, seers to lead humanity, step-by-step, to build an ever-advancing civilization in ways that were appropriate to that time and place. All races and all religions have a role to play in the betterment of the world. Many Jews are aware of the Baha’i Faith, primarily from the nineteen-stepped terraces of the Baha’i Gardens on Mount Carmel in Haifa, but know little about its history, theology or practice. This peek at Baha’i belief will begin to draw the curtain of mystery aside. “The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens.”
