Bring your shofar – The Rabbis invite you to bring your shofar to this service to participate in the Tekiah G’dola – final blast only – to raise our sound to the heavens together.
Wear white for Yom Kippur – It is tradition at TAO and many other Jewish communities to wear white for a few reasons. For some, it represents purity. For others, it is about presenting a clean slate on which to write a new personal story for the new year.
Neilah – The Neilah service closes the ‘gates of heaven’ that have been opened for the High Holidays observance, but doesn’t close your heart. You will take with you a renewed and refreshing feeling that will stay with you throughout the coming year.
