Saturday, May 18, 2019 – 13 Iyar 5779 – Omer day 28

Emor:  Leviticus 21:1 – 24:23

No stealing, no false dealing, no defrauding, no injustice…..

Your soul and another’s soul originated as sparks from the Divine soul.  When you diminish from the glory of another’s soul, you are diminishing from the glory of your own soul.  Have compassion on another as you would on yourself; see the glory, articulate the positive, and act with integrity.  (Glory, p. 259)

Sunday, May 19, 2019 – 14 Iyar 5779 – Omer day 29

Behar:  Leviticus 25:1 – 26:2

Moses tells the Israelites that the seventh year in the new territory will be a sabbath, a year of complete rest for the land.

As you give yourself time in silence, you will notice how the silence regenerates your energy and revitalizes your whole body system.  (Intention, p. 48)

Behar:  Leviticus 25:1 – 26:2

As you continue to meditate on remaining conscious, consider the many ways of maintaining and accessing equanimity in all parts of who you are, in the many facets of how you live……In the personal inner sanctuary of your body, you have all the parts necessary for touching God, nourishing your soul, maintaining a healthy, non-attached ego, and living a glorious life.  (Glory, p. 251)

Tuesday, May 21, 2019 – 16 Iyar 5779 – Omer day 31

Behar:  Leviticus 25:1 – 26:2

After counting seven times seven (49) years, the 50th year in the new land shall be a jubilee, a year to return holdings, release slaves, and rest the land.

When you are in the midst of growth and movement, it takes strength and skill to pull back and pause.  In the stillness, you will regroup your energy and peel back to what is essential to your growth.  (Strength, p. 152)

Wednesday, May 22, 2019 – 17 Iyar 5779 – Omer day 32

Behar:  Leviticus 25:1 – 26:2

Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch out the curtains of your dwelling –
do not hold back;
Lengthen your tent ropes,

fasten your pegs.
For you will burst forth to the right
and to the left….
Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed….
For your spouse is God who made you-
God of hosts is God’s name.
Isaiah – 54:2-5
