Bereshit: Genesis 1:1 – 6:8

Then God creates light and darkness, seas and dry land, vegetation, the heavenly bodies, all living creatures, and, in God’s image, God creates Man.

God and air are one;
God and sound are one;
God is in everything.
God is in me.
God is in me.

(Introduction, p. 20)

Friday, October 5, 2018 – 26 Tishrei 5779

Bereshit: Genesis 1:1 – 6:8

Eve picks the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge and eats it, and she gives it to Adam, and he eats it.  And their eyes are opened…..

In passing through the garden of your life, how many times have you stumbled upon a surprising revelation or a heart-warming situation that feels glorious yet different?  Because it is not familiar, it seems forbidden, or not real enough, or a betrayal of old beliefs or old ways of being.  You may want to taste it but are influenced by those around you not to change.  Notice the times you may have been on the edge of changing from what was to what is yet to be.  (Success, p. 232)

Saturday, October 6, 2018 – 27 Tishrei 5779

Bereshit: Genesis 1:1 – 6:8

God sends forth Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

New adventures and possibilities unfold as you journey through life to the destiny you were born to fulfill.  Moving into a new place requires a mothering of your own skills partnered with a belief in a Force deep within and beyond your local self.  It requires you to love all parts of yourself unconditionally.  Only with an inner loving environment can you nurture yourself to continue growing and birthing new dimensions.  (Creativity, p. 270)

Sunday, October 7, 2018 – 28 Tishrei 5779

Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

God speaks to Noah, and tells him to make an ark of gopher wood, and Noah does according to God’s commandments.

How do you know when you are being called upon by God to act courageously?  When it feels right in your heart; when the task promotes your growth and serves goodness in this world; when you are being asked to do something that your consciousness cannot refuse; when there is an opportunity for union and reunion with the Infinite.  (Harmony, p. 186)

Monday, October 8, 2018 – 29 Tishrei 5779

Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

The Divine purpose for continuous creation is to bestow goodness among humanity.  Therefore, everything that exists in the external world is for the purpose of developing and serving goodness within yourself and within all creation.  (Compassion, p. 116)

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 – 30 Tishrei 5779

Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

Noah and his family, and the male and female of all species, enter the ark, and Noah goes within.

In stillness, the silence welcomes you to explore the inner chambers of your being.  Silence invites you to refuel your energy, clear your mind, relax your body, and return to the Source of your Divine nature.  (Intention, p. 48)

Wednesday, October 10, 2018 – 1 Cheshvan 5779

Noach: Genesis 6:9 – 11:32

And it rains 40 days and 40 nights, and all but the ark is destroyed.  When the rain ceases, Noah sends a dove to find new life.

This world is but a hallway to the world to come.  (Nobility, p. 315)
