Vezot Habracha:  Deuteronomy 33:1 – 34:12

Moses is singled out as the most extraordinary prophet to ever arise in Israel.

Even an ordinary person can accomplish extraordinary things when he or she steps aside and lets God in.

Vezot Habracha:  Deuteronomy 33:1 – 34:12

Meditation on Breath
Pause a moment and sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor.  As you slowly inhale and exhale, feel the breath moving into your body.  Allow your inhaling and exhaling to flow evenly and freely.  In the quiet stillness, begin hearing the sound of the breath, and know that it is the breath of God as it enters your body.  Relax and luxuriate in the breath, the calm, the stillness, the peace.  (Intention, p. 34)

Sunday, October 4, 2020 – 16 Tishrei 5781 – Erev Sukkot

We enter Erev Sukkot, the Festival of Huts (Festival of Booths), celebrated at the full moon of Tishrei, at the ripening and gathering in of the harvest.

When you are self-motivated, each thing you attain becomes the doorway to newer and more glorious insights.  You are the soil in which God plants the seed, and the caretaker of the crop that is harvested.  (Success, p. 218)

Monday, October 5, 2020 – 17 Tishrei 5781 – Sukkot I

As things change, your intentions change and you energize your life with new possibilities for growth.  God gives you the energy and insights necessary to propel you upward and onward.  (Nobility, p. 313)

Tuesday, October 6, 2020 – 18 Tishrei 5781 – Sukkot II

We erect Sukkot (booths), decorate them with fruits of the land, eat and dwell in them, and are reminded that the Israelites lived in booths when we were brought from the land of Egypt.

If you live each part of your life mindfully, the separate parts will come together and reap fields of new possibilities and wonders for you.  (Understanding, p. 93)

Wednesday, October 7, 2020 – 19 Tishrei 5781 – Sukkot III

“You shall hold a festival for the Lord your God seven days, in the place that the Lord will choose.  For the Lord your God will bless all your crops and all your handiwork, and you shall have nothing but joy.” – Deuteronomy 16:15

God will guide your feet as you travel the Divine path.  Even though your feet are planted in the soil of the earth, your spirit can soar to the heavens.  (Nobility, p. 309)
