As soon as Abraham’s knife neared Isaac’s neck, an angel’s voice called out, “Do not stretch your hand against the boy.”  The time for human sacrifices had come to an end.  The time for sacrificing laughter and joy in service of love had ceased.  (Strength, p. 160)
