Moses charges Joshua to be strong as he leads the people of the Promised Land.

As you act with valor and become self-motivated, you affect not only your life, but the lives of all whom you touch and those who are yet to be.  Now is not the time to slouch.  If you need to, take time to rest and go silent first.  Then muster up your strength to move forward toward your goals and upward toward your ordained destiny.  (Success, p. 219)

The Lord tells Moses that after his death, the people will go astray, and God’s Presence will be hidden.
