Thursday, March 21, 2019 – 14 Adar II 5779 – Purim

Tzav: Leviticus 6:1 – 8:36

Purim is a merry (raucous) holiday, at which time we retell the story of Esther and her cousin, Mordecai, and we celebrate the victory of the Jewish people of Persia over the evil prime minister, Haman.

Did you know that what you put into the environment today will be available for centuries to come?  Create joy in your life today and you create vibrations of joy in the environment that will last an eternity.  (Glory, p. 252)

Friday, March 22, 2019 – 15 Adar II 5779

Tzav: Leviticus 6:1 – 8:36

Moses uses the blood from the bull of sin offering to purify and sanctify the altar.

The blood offering of your soul is in the words you speak and the feelings you communicate.  May they be words that elevate another, illuminate your world, and radiate your image of God within.  (Strength, p. 161)

Saturday, March 23, 2019 – 16 Adar II 5779

Tzav: Leviticus 6:1 – 8:36

“Moses took some of the blood and put it on the ridge of Aaron’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.”

When you pay attention to details as though they are endowed with enormous, spiritual powers, your life becomes infinitely more interesting, magical and new.  (Glory, p. 256)

Sunday, March 24, 2019 – 17 Adar II 5779

Shemini: Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47

Moses and Aaron go into the Tent of Meeting, and when they come out, they bless the people.

With clear intention, become conscious of the sacredness of your actions, the purity of your thoughts, and the conscious compassion in your words.  Remain clear in your intention, conscious of the words you speak and the actions you perform.  (Success, p. 208)

Monday, March 25, 2019 – 18 Adar II 5779

Shemini: Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47

Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, offer before the Lord fire which God had not commanded, and the fire consumes them.

There are times in your life when you may feel the fire of passion and it feels wholesome and healthy.  At other times, the fire of passion consumes you and you get burned in the embers of obsessive and possessive attachment to money, love, or power.  When your passion leads to an obsession with things outside yourself, the passion is misplaced, and misplaced passion exhausts your energy.  When God and godliness are your passion, you discover infinite energy.  (Intention, p. 45)

Tuesday, March 26, 2019 – 19 Adar II 5779

Shemini: Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47

Moses tells Aaron that God is sanctified through those nearest to God.  And Aaron holds his peace.

When you accept suffering yet avoid attaching to its dominating all parts of your life, you can make peace with the suffering and go on.  The essence of suffering does not lie in the ability to circumvent it; it lies in the ability to be at peace with the adversity.  (Compassion, p. 122)

Wednesday, March 27, 2019 – 20 Adar II 5779

Shemini: Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47

The Lord tells Aaron to drink no wine in the Tent of Meeting, in order to distinguish between the sacred and profane, the unclean and clean.

if you live each part of your life mindfully, the separate parts will come together and reap fields of new possibilities and wonders for you.  Imagine now the marvelous opportunities that await your patient recognition, the glorious wonders that await your curiosity and openness, the diverse experiences that await your enthusiasm, wisdom, and understanding.  (Understanding, p. 93)
